Financial disputes are mounting around Sean “Diddy” Combs as the music mogul serves time in federal prison, with multiple staffers and professionals reporting delayed payments.

According to TMZ, business management firm Tri Star Sports & Entertainment has taken control of Combs’ finances during his incarceration and is closely monitoring all outgoing payments. Sources familiar with the matter say this strict oversight has created problems for people awaiting compensation for their work.

The payment delays have reportedly impacted several groups, including attorneys working on Combs’ civil lawsuits and various staff members. At least one employee has allegedly resigned due to the non-payment.

Combs’ representative, Juda Engelmayer, denies these accounts. He stated that all personnel and attorneys are being paid, no one is departing, and Combs maintains control over his own finances. Engelmayer explained that payment occurs after work is completed, verified, and reviewed through standard procedures.

“People, personnel, and attorneys are all being paid, and no one is leaving,” Engelmayer tells TMZ, adding, “Sean Combs controls his own finances. Everyone gets paid for their work once it’s completed and confirmed, after routine review.”

Sources also say Combs’ family members are working within a set budget while Tri Star oversees the accounts. When costs surpass that budget, they must submit invoices to Tri Star for approval.

Combs is currently serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix, a low-security federal prison in New Jersey, after being convicted in 2025 of two Mann Act violations.
