Countries that never experienced Covid-19

The spread of the coronavirus took us all by surprise, and the speed at which it has spread all over the world is alarming. So much so, that it is almost hard to believe that some countries still have no reported cases of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.

Well, there are in fact countries without Coronavirus!

The UN officially recognises 193 countries.

As of June 13 2020, only 12 countries have not confirmed any cases of COVID-19. Many of these countries are Pacific Island countries in Oceania.

Scientists, health officials and governments across the world have encouraged citizens to practise physical distancing and to avoid going out unless for necessary purposes.

According to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, more than 7.2 million people have been infected, and the global death toll is more than 411,000. More than 3.3 million patients have recovered.

Here are a few countries that have not reported any cases of the coronavirus so far:

Samoa

Solomon Islands

Tonga

Turkmenistan
