Oyo state Governor sacks aide who posted photos of Lagos State project on coronavirus for Oyo

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has sacked his aide on Digital media Muritala Adigun.

“I wish to pass on the endorsement of His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on the end of your arrangement as Special Assistant (Digital Media), with Immediate impact,” secretary to Oyo State Government Olubamiwo Adeosun said in a letter to Adigun.

“I am to include that, your commitment inside the brief timeframe of your sojourn ls acknowledged and praiseworthy, and in this manner, wish you success in your future undertakings.”

Before the end of his arrangement, Adigun posted photos from Lagos State Government’s mediations to handle the spread of coronavirus as that of Oyo State.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu posted the photos on Twitter on Friday, March 26.

“Oyo State Government in her preparation to battle the heightening of COVID-19 infection has bought cleaning machines to be utilized over the State,” Adigun said in a Facebook with pictures of disinfectant hardware secured by Lagos State.

Minutes after the tweet, Adigun asserted that his Facebook account was hacked by specialists of the restriction All Progressives Congress (APC).

He took steps to sue the culprits of the alleged hack and later recognized that the photos were activities of the Lagos State Government.
